Reflexology for Sleep Workshop
June 12 @ 6:30 am - 8:30 pm
$35.00
· Does your family member have trouble falling asleep?
· Learn a short, simple routine you can use to encourage your family member to settle for sleep.
· Materials provided.
· It’s really important that participants are aware that they will be touching another person’s feet, and that another person will be touching their feet. Some participants come in pairs and ask that they just do each other’s feet – and that’s all cool J
· “Reflexology has been found to be effective in reducing stress and tension and is deeply relaxing.”
· The workshop is a bit of an introduction where I talk about reflexology and how it works. Then I give a demonstration (if you have a person that you know who would volunteer to be the person, I give the demonstration on, that would be great – as then all the participants can watch the demonstration rather than have one participant that only get to ‘feel’ the demonstration. But having a volunteer isn’t essential.) Following that, they then work in pairs – giving and receiving the routine.
I put this in the email to the participants who have registered:
This is just a few bits of information about the Reflexology for Sleep Workshop that you have booked to attend next Tuesday (date in here):
· Please make sure that your fingernails are trimmed. They don’t need to be super short – but trimmed nails will make it easier for you to work the reflexes, and make it more relaxing for the person you are working with 🙂
· Someone will be working on your feet – and you will be working on someone else’s feet. It makes for a much better experience for all concerned if our feet are fresh 🙂
